Dylan Thomas

Part of the Dylan Thomas exhibition in the Dylan Thomas Centre in SwanseaDylan Thomas met his wife Caitlin, a dancer, in a pub in London. Their meeting was love at first sight and later that afternoon they booked into a hotel (charging the room to Augustus John for whom Caitlin was a model and occasional lover). A year later they married having postponed the wedding twice as they had drunk the funds put aside for the ceremony!
